Our Monographs in Theoretical Atomic Physics

A number of monographs was prepared by people working in what today is the Department of the Theory of an Atom. Among these, the longest-known one to a reader in English is "Mathematical Apparatus of the Theory of Angular Momentum" by A. P. Yutsis, I. B. Levinson and V. V. Vanagas (A. Jucys, Y. Levinson and V. Vanagas), Israel Program for Scientific Translations, Jerusalem, 1962; New York, Gordon and Breach, 1964. The most recent English monograph is the "Theoretical Atomic Spectroscopy" by Z. B. Rudzikas, Cambridge Univ. Press, Cambridge, 1997. (Cambridge Monographs on Atomic, Molecular and Chemical Physics, 7; 247 x 174 mm, 448 pp, 15 line diagrams, 24 tables, ISBN 0-521-44425-X, uk.cambridge.org .) Another English one is the "Introduction to the Theory of X-Ray and Electronic Spectra of Free Atoms" by R.Karazija, Plenum, New York, 1996. (Plenum Publishing Corporation, ISBN 0-306-44218-3, )
