I am research fellow at the Department of the Theory of Processes and Structures in the Institute of Theoretical Physics and Astronomy, Vilnius University.
Currently I am working in the Quantum Optics group headed by Habil. Dr. Gediminas Juzeliūnas.
Areas of research
The field of research is theoretical physics. Current topics of research are:
- electromagnetically induced transparency;
- modelling and theory of 1/f noise (flicker noise);
- quantum Zeno and anti-Zeno effects;
- tunneling time problem;
- problem of measurement in quantum theory.
I am also interested in quantum information theory, quantum optics, and philosophical aspects of quantum mechanics.
